You pay for the application of your Idea and written feedback from the team of our professionals. If a project is successfully funded, THOTH collects about 10% fee from the funds collected for creators when the project is backed. The percentage is negotiable. If an idea does not reach its goal, just the application fee is collected. We established this fee and have set an industry standard for creator-friendly funding. We use this model because we believe in paying creators as much as possible. We’re a tool for going around traditional gatekeepers like agents, dealers, distributors, fiscal sponsors, etc. and we accordingly take a much lower cut than they do. When you apply with the particular idea team of our professionals considers it and gives you a written feedback which can be threefold based on the market analysis and results of presentation of your idea to various groups of potential investors. Based on this analysis your Idea can be rejected such as one for which THOTH can’t find a proper backer and sees no opportunity to transform it into a Project. Another feedback Is a some kind of peer advice when our professionals give you written recommendation how to improve your idea with the following opportunities of funding. Third answer from THOTH is when the Idea is accepted for consideration and potential funding from the investor or group of investors. In this case communication between THOTH and creator/inventor/idea holder continues and is resulted in a form of Investment Agreement of some kind. Consequently this particular moment your Idea is been converted into a Project.

To manage which email and mobile notifications you’d like to receive, simply sign in to your THOTH account from a web browser and go to the update tab of your settings. On this page, you can control what notifications you receive concerning the status of your Idea or Project and how you receive them. This includes replies to comments, new messages, and if someone you are following backs a project. You can turn specific notifications on or off by toggling the corresponding icons. If you’d like to stop receiving updates from ended projects in your inbox, simply uncheck the box next to that project under “Projects you’ve backed”. Please note: new updates will continue to show on your Activity feed.

An idea is a finite work with a clear goal that you’d like to bring to life. The funding goal is the amount of money that a creator needs to complete their project in which the raw idea is converted. We suppose that talents/creators always have the budget they scoped out before moving forward. A creator is the person or team behind the idea, working to bring it to life. Investors are private persons and institutional investors who pledge money to join creators in bringing projects to life. THOTH is not a store. Rewards are a creator’s chance to share a piece of their project with their investor or investors community. Typically, these are one-of-a-kind experiences, limited editions, or copies of the creative work being produced. Investor back projects for a number of reasons. They may be rallying around the project, or supporting a new effort from someone they’ve believe in. They might be inspired by a new idea, or simply motivated by a project’s reward. Whatever the reason, people back projects because they want to have a part in helping to bring it to life. Backing a project is more than just pledging funds to a creator, it’s pledging support for a creative idea and human potential development.

At the moment you apply with your Idea and made the payment we insure you by the policy and offert agreement and it becomes our obligation to give you a written feedback from the team of our professionals in terms provided in the agreement. Maximum term for the feedback from the THOTH team is one month from the moment of idea application.

Currently, our Support team is able to assist users in English, Russian, Ukrainian, Croatian and German. We’re working to scale up the number of languages we support and aim to have a wider reach to help users in different territories. While we don’t have a concrete timeline for implementing this just yet, rest assured that we are working on it. And lastly, the best thing that you can do, as a creator, is to continue communicating with your backers through regular project updates. Let them know where you’re at with your project, or maybe share some snippets of what you’re working on while in isolation.
